World War I Veterans update

This just in: 30 total, 22 verified--worldwide. Only three are left in the United States. "Armistice Day," as it was then known, was 89 years ago; the handful of surviving veterans were all minors when they served. Let's see...90 years from 1945 is 2035. The last WW II veterans will be dying off when I'm about seventy, but for all practical purposes, most of them will be gone by about 2020, 2025 the latest, when I'm in my fifties. I will miss them.
