Predictions

Apishly following in the tracks of my esteemed fellow-blogger and friend of 25 years Chris Barrus, I would like to add my own contribution to the list of 'things I predicted.' However, so unoriginal am I that I must further disclose that it was not I who thought of this, but another friend of mine, who shall for numerous reasons remain anonymous. M.A., should you ever read this, kudos to you. About 22 years ago, M.A. and I were at college together, and one day he offhandedly remarked, more or less, 'There is no way we can keep driving cars like this if everyone in China eventually got one, too.'
